Research Group Members

IMG_0970Cole Higley’s research is informed by the principles of the Risk, Need, and Responsivity model and primarily focuses on investigating the influence of offenders’ attitudes, motivations, and beliefs on how offenders’ desist from criminal behavior.  Additionally, Cole is interested in exploring the role that community factors has on offenders involved in formal state supervision and how that role influences criminal recidivism and revocation.

 

Ariel

Ariel Stone is a graduate student pursuing a PhD in legal psychology. Her research in the PO3C lab focuses on the use of risk assessments in predicting recidivism. She is particularly interested in dynamic risk factors for violent recidivism.
